What are responsive forms?

Responsive forms are unlike “static” forms, in that they reshuffle and adapt to the size of the device they are being viewed on.

For example, a form might display centred, with a maximum width of 400px when viewed on a desktop, but when viewed on a mobile device, can show at 100% width to make good use of space.

It’s extremely important to use responsive forms due to around 50% of web sessions taking place on a mobile device (depending on your audience).

How to build a responsive form

To build a responsive form, you can use a multi-step responsive form builder like Growform.

Just sign up and add your form elements (like buttons and fields), pick your colour scheme and that’s it!

All forms on Growform are responsive by default, so there’s no extra work or “converting” that needs to be done to build responsive forms.

Using responsive form templates

The best way to get started is to create a responsive form from a template.

We currently have responsive form templates for the following industries:

  • B2B/SaaS
  • Dentists
  • Lawyers
  • Life insurance
  • 10+ more

Using a template means you can start from best-practices and adjust your form as needed.

If you just need a responsive contact form, those are easy too!
