involve.me's 7 deadly sins

involve.me reviews on Capterra score well, but the complaints share a theme: it is a broad tool whose lead-gen basics cost extra.

  1. I Greed

Lead capture is one use case, so the basics cost extra

involve.me's pricing table lists eight use cases, and the lead-gen basics are spread up its ladder. Branding removal, UTMs and hidden fields and your own domain start on Grow at $99 a month, webhooks and custom CSS on Scale at $199. Growform includes branding, UTMs, webhooks and custom CSS on its $79 Basic plan.

“We already pay for the first tier and are missing huge functionality”

  2. II Gluttony

    Webhooks are a $199-a-month feature

On involve.me, webhooks and Salesforce arrive with Scale at $199 a month, and HubSpot, Klaviyo and the other native CRM connections start on Grow at $99. Zapier is on every paid plan. Growform posts every lead to any endpoint by webhook on the $79 Basic plan, with Zapier and instant email alerts beside it.

  3. III Pride

Your own branding is a $99 upgrade

involve.me shows its watermark on Start, and "Remove Watermark" is a Grow feature at $99 a month, or $69 on yearly billing. Growform removes its branding on every plan, Basic included at $79.

“The price and the baiting with limited features was the most frustrating.”

  4. IV Envy

The most popular plan runs five live funnels on one website

involve.me Start allows 3 live funnels on 1 website, Grow 5 on 1 and Scale 25 on 3. Its help center sells 5 more funnels on Grow for $10 a month, at most twice. Growform Professional runs 15 active forms on unlimited domains at $139 a month, and Scale 50 at $249.

  5. V Lust

A second CRM and metered AI credits in every plan

involve.me's homepage H1 promises "Built-In CRM and Email Automation", and every plan carries AI credits, 50 a month on Start, 100 on Grow, 300 on Scale. A team that already runs HubSpot gets a second CRM with the plan. Growform sends each lead to the CRM you keep, by webhook or Zapier.

  6. VI Wrath

The trial takes a card and the plan gives no refunds

involve.me's pricing FAQ says a trial needs "your billing details", that the plan "will start automatically" when the trial is not cancelled, and "We generally do not offer refunds once a paid subscription period has started". Cancellation completes only after a survey. Growform's 14-day trial asks for no credit card.

  7. VII Sloth

A survey reply and a lead count the same towards one cap

involve.me meters submissions, and its help center counts "all completed submissions" and revealed partial ones "from all funnels across your organization" towards one monthly limit, so a survey reply spends the allowance a lead would. Its paid plans publish no number. Growform meters leads, 300 on Basic and 1,000 on Professional, with soft limits.

When involve.me is the better choice

Choose involve.me when the job is interactive content rather than a lead form. It builds outcome and personality quizzes with scoring, calculators with an AI formula builder, surveys, contests and payment forms on every paid plan, taking money through Stripe, PayPal and Square. A solo consultant or coach without a CRM gets one built in, with email sequences that follow up on their own.

It also has a free plan with two live funnels and 50 submissions a month, keeps its data in Frankfurt under a SOC 2 Type 2 audit, puts Google Tag Manager and your own domain on Grow at $99 where Growform reserves them for Professional, and tests funnels against each other natively (Growform has this for 2026). Among involve.me alternatives it stays the pick when the funnel is a quiz first and a form second.

How to switch from involve.me to Growform

A qualifying funnel moves in an afternoon. Each involve.me question becomes a step, and the embed is one snippet.

Rebuild the flow from a template and match your brand

Pick the solar, mortgage or insurance template closest to your involve.me funnel and paste each question into its own step, with conditional logic skipping the steps an answer rules out. Then set your colors, width and Google Fonts in the Theme panel and add custom CSS for the rest. There is no watermark to remove on any plan.

Point webhooks or Zapier at the CRM you kept

Create a webhook to the endpoint your HubSpot, Salesforce or Klaviyo account listens on, or a Zap that maps the form fields to its properties, then paste your Google Ads and Meta conversion IDs under Tracking & tagging and add your GTM container on Professional.

Swap the embed on every site

Replace the involve.me embed with the Growform snippet on each landing page, keep the page URLs, and unpublish the old funnel so it stops counting submissions. Professional and Scale embed on as many domains as you run, so an agency moves every client site at once.

Finance & insurance

Qualified applicants, with the consent certificate attached.

Lead buyers want proof of consent, and call centers want fewer people who were “just researching prices”. Our best-practice life insurance template first asks about coverage, health and stage before anything personal, can verify the phone number before it’s submitted, and can record a TrustedForm or Jornaya certificate with every submission.

  • Asks about a second applicant only when there is one
  • Phone and email verified before the lead is submitted

involve.me alternative FAQ

What is the best involve.me alternative for lead forms?

Growform is the best involve.me alternative for lead forms. involve.me puts hidden fields for UTMs on its Grow plan at $99 a month and webhooks and custom CSS on Scale at $199, while Growform includes all three on every plan from $79. involve.me suits quiz funnels and calculators.

Among other involve.me alternatives, Outgrow and Heyflow suit quiz funnels with scoring, and every tool we compare is listed on the alternatives hub.

Is involve.me good for lead generation?

It captures leads, and its own pricing page lists lead funnels as one of eight use cases beside quizzes, surveys, contests and payment forms. The tooling a lead-gen team relies on sits higher up its ladder, with UTMs and branding on Grow and webhooks on Scale, and a survey reply counts towards the same submission limit as a lead. Growform is the multi-step form builder for lead generation, so every plan carries hidden fields, ad network tracking, webhooks and instant lead alerts, and Professional adds TrustedForm, Jornaya, Twilio and ZeroBounce for teams that sell or verify leads.

Does Growform include a CRM?

Growform sends every lead to the CRM you already run, the moment the form is completed, on every plan. A webhook posts the lead to any endpoint you own, a Zap maps the form fields to HubSpot, Salesforce or Klaviyo properties in a few clicks, and instant email alerts reach the inbox you choose. There is no second contact database to keep in sync.

Can Growform build quizzes?

Yes, as a multi-step form that branches on each answer. Conditional logic shows, hides or skips steps based on what was chosen earlier, so a qualifying quiz sends a homeowner and a renter down different paths, and the completed form redirects to the page you choose. Image choice, sliders and buttons keep each step to one question, which is where the completion rate comes from.

Which Growform plan includes branding removal, UTMs, webhooks and custom CSS?

Every plan, starting with Basic at $79 a month for 300 leads and 3 active forms. Branding removal, hidden fields for UTMs, webhook delivery, Zapier, ad network tracking and the custom CSS box are all on the first plan. Professional at $139 adds Google Tag Manager, your own domain, IP capture and priority support.

How many websites can one Growform account embed on?

Basic embeds on one domain, Professional and Scale on as many as you run. A Professional account with 15 active forms can spread them across every client site an agency manages, and the same form can sit on several pages of the same domain. See form embedding.

Does Growform take a card for the free trial?

No. Every Growform plan has a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, so there is no card on file when it ends. involve.me asks for billing details to start its trial and starts the paid plan automatically when the trial is not cancelled, according to its pricing FAQ of 6 October 2026.

What happens when a Growform plan passes its lead allowance?

Every lead still arrives. Growform's plan limits are soft, so passing 300 leads on Basic or 1,000 on Professional brings an alert and time to upgrade while the form keeps running and the CRM keeps receiving. Professional can also be raised to 2,000 leads a month for $60 more.

Can I rebuild my involve.me funnels in Growform?

Yes. Growform has 25+ field types, 250+ templates and conditional logic between steps, so a quiz-style qualifying funnel becomes a multi-step form in an afternoon. Paste the questions in, match the theme, and the embed is one snippet on every site your plan allows.
