Add a redirect ending
Open the step dropdown in the top bar of the form editor, add an ending and choose “Redirect”. Enter the destination URL.
Feature
A redirect ending sends the lead to a URL you choose when the form is complete, with their answers in the URL if you want them. Your booking page or thank-you page can greet the lead by name.
A redirect after form submission takes the lead to a URL of your choice as soon as they complete the form. In Growform a form redirect is one of two kinds of ending. The other kind is a thank-you page shown inside the form.
Conditional redirects send leads to different URLs according to their answers. You add one redirect ending for each destination and give each its own logic. Growform checks the endings from the top down, and the first match wins. Leads who match nothing get the final ending in the list.
A mortgage broker could send purchase leads to one adviser's booking page and refinance leads to another's. The logic can also test whether a lead was disqualified, and for which reason.
You switch on “Send query params” on the redirect ending. Growform then adds the form's field values to the destination URL as query parameters, using each field's ID as the parameter name.
https://www.example.com?text_17827218727812=John
Most destination pages expect a friendlier name. The setting “Send query param as...” on each field renames its parameter, for example to “fname”.
https://www.example.com?fname=John
The destination page can read the answers from the URL and use them. A scheduling tool can fill in the name and email, so the lead does not type them twice. Your own thank-you page can show the first name or the service the lead chose. A second Growform form can pick the values up with URL prefill or hidden fields.
Answers sent this way are visible in the address bar and to the destination page. Send them only to pages you control or trust.
Open the step dropdown in the top bar of the form editor, add an ending and choose “Redirect”. Enter the destination URL.
Set the logic that decides which leads go to this URL. Repeat for each destination and place the fallback ending at the bottom.
Turn the toggle on if the destination page should receive the lead's answers in the URL.
Select a field, open its advanced settings and type the name your destination expects into “Send query param as...”.
A redirect opens your booking page as soon as the form is complete.
Name and email arrive in the URL, so the scheduling tool can fill them in.
Conditional redirects choose the destination from the answers the lead gave.
The redirect hands the lead to a page you host, where your own scripts and content apply.
You can use redirect endings, their logic and “Send query params” on Basic, Professional, Scale and Custom.
Yes. Add a redirect ending that points to your Calendly page, and switch on “Send query params” to pass the name and email in the URL.
They get the ending at the bottom of the list, which acts as the fallback. It can be another redirect or a thank-you page inside the form.
Yes. The logic on an ending can check whether the lead was disqualified or which reason they matched, so those leads can go to a different URL.
Only if it displays the answers. Growform adds the parameters to the URL, and your page or scheduling tool needs its own way of reading them.
