Feature
Growform has its own app on Zapier, and every new submission can trigger a Zap. Your leads reach the CRM, spreadsheet or SMS tool you already use, without a developer.
The Growform Zapier integration is a trigger that starts a Zap each time one of your forms receives a new submission. Zapier reads the lead from Growform with your account's API key and hands it to the actions you have built.
People look for Zapier forms when the tool they sell from has no direct connection to their form. Growform covers that case with a published Zapier app, so you do not need a custom connection.
Zapier can send a lead to any of the 7,000+ apps in its directory. Each of the following destinations is reached through Zapier.
The lead arrives with its hidden fields, so you can map UTM parameters and click IDs like any other answer. A lead that matched a lead disqualification rule carries its disqualification reasons.
The Zap can break, because Zapier uses field names to identify Growform fields. Give every field a different, meaningful name before you build the Zap. If you rename a field later, open the Zap, check the mapping and run a test.
Use a webhook when the destination accepts one, and Zapier when it does not. Growform pushes a webhook when the form is completed and keeps a delivery log with retries. Zapier collects new leads from Growform on its own schedule, so a lead can take some minutes to arrive. In return, Zapier gives you a mapping screen and thousands of ready-made actions.
Create a new Zap in Zapier and search for Growform. Select “Growform (Latest)” as the trigger app.
Zapier asks you to sign in to Growform. Copy the API key from your Growform account page and paste it in.
Choose the form that should trigger the Zap. Submit a test lead through “Preview form”, then test the trigger in Zapier to load that lead.
Choose what should happen to each lead and map the Growform fields to the destination's fields. Switch the Zap on when the test passes.
The Zap creates the contact or the row for you, so you stop copying details out of alert emails.
Hidden fields are sent with the answers, which places the campaign and click ID next to the contact in your CRM.
The whole connection is made by choosing options in Zapier, with no code on either side.
Growform can hold back disqualified leads from Zapier while still saving them in your account.
You can connect Zapier on any Growform plan, and Zapier's own plans and task limits apply on its side.
The key is on your account page in Growform. Zapier asks for it the first time you connect your Growform account.
Only if you want it to. Switch on “Prevent disqualified leads being sent to Zapier, webhooks and email” and those leads stay in Growform.
