Jotform pricing 2026: every plan, every limit and what a lead form costs

Jotform costs $39, $49 or $129 a month, or $408, $468 or $1,188 a year, and the free plan stops at 100 submissions. Every plan and limit, checked October 9, 2026, plus what a lead form really costs.

Jotform's paid plans cost $39, $49 and $129 a month, and the price card is the easy part. The part that decides your bill is the set of meters behind it. Jotform counts submissions, form views, payments and storage across every form on your account, and when one of those runs out your forms stop taking entries until the month resets or you pay for the next plan up.

As of October 2026, Jotform's paid plans are Bronze at $39 a month, Silver at $49 and Gold at $129 on monthly billing, or $408, $468 and $1,188 a year, and its free Starter plan allows 100 submissions and 10,000 form views a month.

This guide goes through every plan, every limit and the billing rules that surprise people at renewal. If you send paid traffic to a form, you can skip to what a lead form costs.

How much does Jotform cost?

Jotform sells one free plan, three self-serve paid plans and an Enterprise plan priced by its sales team. The monthly prices are the same as they were in July 2025.

Paying yearly saves 13% on Bronze, 20% on Silver and 23% on Gold. A yearly plan is charged up front and renews every year unless you cancel.

Jotform charges in US dollars everywhere except Europe, where it bills in euros, and takes cards or PayPal. Nonprofits and schools can apply for 50% off Bronze, Silver and Gold, and nonprofits get 30% off Enterprise.

What does each Jotform plan include?

The builder is the same on every plan. Templates, conditional logic, widgets, integrations and the free plan's standard features carry through to Gold, and Jotform's own pricing FAQ says the Starter plan is how you try everything except HIPAA. What you buy with each step up is room: more forms, more submissions, more views and more storage. Only two things sit behind a plan. The Jotform badge comes off at Bronze, and HIPAA features start at Gold.

Five forms, 100 submissions and 10,000 views a month, 10 payment submissions, 100 MB of upload space and 500 stored submissions. Every form shows the "Powered by Jotform" badge, and each form can send one notification email to one recipient. It never expires.

Bronze: $39 a month

Bronze is the plan most people compare, and Jotform describes it as the one for startups and freelancers. It gives you 25 forms, 1,000 submissions and 100,000 views a month, 100 payment submissions, 1 GB of upload space and 10,000 stored submissions. The badge comes off here, though Jotform's help center notes that its name still appears in the form URL.

Silver: $49 a month

Ten dollars more buys 50 forms, 2,500 submissions and 1,000,000 views a month, 250 payment submissions, 10 GB of upload space and 25,000 stored submissions. For anything public, Silver is the better value of the two, because views run out long before submissions do on a busy site.

Gold: $129 a month

Gold raises the meters to 100 forms, 10,000 submissions and 10,000,000 views a month, 1,000 payment submissions, 100 GB of upload space and 100,000 stored submissions. It is also the cheapest plan with HIPAA features. Jotform's pricing page lists encryption, auditing and PHI segmentation and says they are available on Gold and Enterprise only, so anyone collecting health information starts at $129.

Enterprise: contact sales

Enterprise is the only multiuser plan. Jotform's FAQ lists custom domains, single sign-on, enhanced security, HIPAA features and dedicated support among what it adds. There is no published price, and the sales that run on the lower plans do not apply to it.

Is Jotform free?

Yes, and the free plan is one of the more generous ones around. Starter has no time limit and carries the standard features, so you can build a multi-page form with logic, payments and integrations without paying. The constraints are the meters: 100 submissions and 10,000 form views a month, counted across every form on the account.

Views are what you hit first. A contact form on a site that gets 400 visitors a day burns through 10,000 views in under a month even if only a handful of people submit, and at that point every form on the account shows "Form over quota". The badge stays on, and each form can email one person.

For lead generation the free plan is a test bed, nothing more. One hundred leads a month is not enough to read a conversion rate, and 10,000 views is a week of paid traffic for a modest campaign. The realistic starting point is Bronze at $39, with Silver at $49 if the traffic is real.

Does Jotform have a free trial?

No. Jotform's pricing FAQ says there is no trial period for its plans, and points you at the free plan to try the standard features. What it offers instead is a 30-day money-back guarantee: cancel within 30 days of payment and support issues a full refund.

Growform works the other way around. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and asks for no card, so the first thing you pay for is a plan you have already used.

What happens when you hit a Jotform limit?

Jotform's help center splits its limits into two kinds. Monthly limits cover submissions, form views, payment submissions, signed documents and AI Agent usage, and they reset on the first day of your billing cycle. Total limits cover active forms, fields per form, upload space and stored submissions, and they never reset. You free them yourself by disabling forms or purging entries.

When a meter fills, Jotform emails you and shows a warning on your dashboard. Reaching the upload space limit or any monthly limit disables your forms on the date named in that email, and visitors see a "Form over quota" message instead of the form. The forms come back when the month resets or when you upgrade. Three details matter here:

  1. Deleting submissions does not free the monthly count. The help center is explicit that deleting and purging entries leaves the submission, payment and signed document meters where they were.
  2. Every form on the account goes down together. The meters are account-wide, so a viral survey can close the sales form that was nowhere near its own limit.
  3. Stored submissions behave differently. Above the storage ceiling, Jotform deletes the oldest entry to make room for the new one. Nothing closes, but you lose data unless you export first.

For an internal form a closed form is a nuisance. For a campaign it is money, because the ads keep charging for every click that lands on an over-quota message.

How Growform handles plan limits

Growform plans count leads, not views, and no plan meters traffic. When a campaign is heading past its monthly lead allowance you get an alert and plenty of notice, and nothing is switched off while you decide whether to move up. A form that goes dark in the middle of a campaign is the worst outcome a lead generation team can buy, so Growform is built so that it does not happen.

Does Jotform run sales, and what happens at renewal?

Jotform runs discounts at different times of the year, and the terms are the same each time. The pricing FAQ says they apply only when upgrading to a higher yearly tier, never to the plan you are already on, and that plans auto-renew at the full price in the next payment period.

When we loaded the pricing page on October 9, 2026, it carried a 50% first-year discount on yearly Bronze, Silver and Gold: $234, $294 and $774 for the first year, then $408, $468 and $1,188 from the second. The page's own disclaimer calls it a one-time offer, excludes Enterprise and says the plan renews at full price a year after the discount is applied. Set a calendar reminder for eleven months after you buy.

Outside the sale window, a monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan every year until you cancel. You can move up or down a plan at any time from the billing page, and the 30-day refund covers a change of mind on the first payment.

What does Jotform cost for lead generation?

A lead form has a longer shopping list than a survey. It needs the badge gone, enough views for paid traffic, a tag manager for the pixels, a domain the ad platforms trust and, for anyone selling leads, a consent record on each one. Here is where each of those sits on Jotform's price list:

What a lead form needsCheapest Jotform planPrice billed monthly
No Jotform badgeBronze$39
100,000 form views a monthBronze$39
1,000,000 form views a monthSilver$49
HIPAA features for health leadsGold$129
Google Tag ManagerNo direct integration-
Form on your own domainEnterpriseContact sales
TrustedForm or Jornaya consent certificatesNot on Jotform's price list-

Two rows need a note. Jotform Support has said there is no direct Google Tag Manager integration and that the route is to add your tags to the form's source code on your own site, which means hosting the form yourself. And the pricing FAQ lists custom domains under Enterprise, so putting the form on a subdomain you own starts with a call to sales.

On price alone Jotform is hard to beat. Here is what the same volume costs on each tool, on monthly billing:

Leads a monthJotform planJotform priceGrowform planGrowform price
Up to 300Bronze$39Basic$79
Up to 1,000Bronze$39Professional$139
Up to 3,000Gold$129Scale$249
Up to 10,000Gold$129CustomContact us

Jotform costs less at every row, and that is the honest reading. The gap pays for different things. At 1,000 leads a month the $100 between Bronze and Professional buys Google Tag Manager, a form on your own domain, TrustedForm and Jornaya certificates on every lead, and real-time phone and email validation through Twilio and ZeroBounce. On Jotform those are a sales call, a self-hosted form, or not on the list. You can run the numbers for your own campaign with our cost per lead calculator.

The other difference is the form itself. Growform forms are multi-step by default, with related questions grouped on each step and the contact details at the end. Giles Williams, a co-founder and CTO, put it this way: "some of our lead gen forms have probably twice as many fields as our old forms, yet still convert better".

Where Jotform's pricing falls short for lead generation

Jotform is a mature product at a fair price, and for order forms, registrations and anything that takes a payment it is often the right call. For a form under paid traffic, four things about the pricing work against you:

  1. The view meter decides your plan. A campaign producing 1,000 leads a month at a 1% conversion rate uses all of Bronze's 100,000 views, and the 100,001st visitor sees "Form over quota". Silver's 1,000,000 views fix that for $10 more, which is why Bronze's headline price rarely holds for ad traffic.
  2. The cap closes every form at once. One form over its share takes the rest of the account down with it until the reset or an upgrade.
  3. Tracking means hosting the form yourself. With no direct Tag Manager integration, the pixels a media buyer relies on go into self-hosted source code rather than a settings panel.
  4. Your own domain is an Enterprise feature. On the self-serve plans the form lives on a jotform.com address, and the Jotform name stays in the URL even after the badge is gone.

Jotform still wins on price per submission, on payments, on documents and on HIPAA at a published price. If that is your use, Silver at $49 is good value, and our Jotform review goes through the product in more depth. Jotform vs Typeform and Google Forms on price

The two tools people weigh against Jotform sit at opposite ends. Typeform's Basic plan also costs $39 a month, but it includes 100 responses against Jotform's 1,000, and its free plan stops at 10 responses against Jotform's 100. Removing Typeform's badge costs $79 a month, where Jotform drops its badge at $39. We go through every Typeform plan in our Typeform pricing guide.

Google Forms is free with any Google account and, since September 2026, carries its own hard limits of 1 GB and 500,000 responses per form. It has no view meter at all, which makes it the cheapest option for an internal form, and the weakest for anything that needs branding, logic or tracking. Our Jotform vs Google Forms comparison covers where each one stops.

Is Jotform worth the price?

For general business forms, yes. Silver gives you 2,500 submissions and a million views for $49 a month, and no lead generation tool comes close to that per submission. Gold adds HIPAA features at a published price, which few form builders do at all.

For a form whose job is to turn ad clicks into leads you can track and sell, the price list stops being the point. The features that job needs, a tag manager, your own domain and a consent record per lead, are either an Enterprise conversation or missing from Jotform's plans, and a view meter sits between your campaign and your form.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Jotform cost per month?

Jotform costs $39 a month for Bronze, $49 for Silver and $129 for Gold on monthly billing. Billed yearly the same plans cost $408, $468 and $1,188, which works out at $34, $39 and $99 a month. Enterprise is priced by Jotform's sales team.

Is Jotform free?

Yes. Jotform's free Starter plan never expires and allows 5 forms, 100 submissions a month, 10,000 form views a month, 10 payment submissions and 100 MB of upload space, and every form carries the Jotform badge. There is no free trial of the paid plans.

What is the difference between Jotform's free and paid plans?

The builder, templates, conditional logic and integrations are the same on every plan. Paying buys higher limits on forms, submissions, form views, payments and storage, removes the Jotform badge from Bronze upward, and adds HIPAA features on Gold and Enterprise.

Does Jotform charge per submission?

No. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of submissions and form views counted across every form on the account. When an allowance runs out, Jotform disables the forms and shows a "Form over quota" message until the month resets or the account upgrades.

Which Jotform plan includes HIPAA features?

Gold, at $129 a month or $1,188 a year, is the cheapest Jotform plan with HIPAA features, and Enterprise has them too. The free plan, Bronze and Silver do not.

Can you get a refund from Jotform?

Yes, within 30 days. Jotform's pricing page offers a full refund if you cancel within 30 days of payment, requested through its support team. After that the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and yearly plans renew at the full price.

Is Jotform cheaper than Typeform?

Per response, by a wide margin. Both entry plans cost $39 a month, but Jotform's Bronze includes 1,000 submissions against 100 on Typeform's Basic, and Jotform's free plan allows 100 submissions a month against Typeform's 10.

We checked every price, plan limit and billing rule in this article on jotform.com/pricing and Jotform's help center on October 9, 2026, and they were correct at the time of publishing. Jotform changes its plans and runs sales from time to time, so check its pricing page before you buy.

Typeform Free Plan Limits That Hurt Lead Gen Teams

Typeform’s free tier sounds generous at first because you can build unlimited forms, but lead gen teams usually run into the real constraint almost immediately: responses. Growform, a no-code multi-step form builder made for lead capture and qualification, sits in this conversation because teams comparing Typeform alternatives are often not asking about surveys at all….
