    Jotform calls itself the easiest online form builder, made for data collection, payments and workflows, and its support says there is no direct Google Tag Manager integration.     A successful month switches your forms off

    Jotform meters submissions, form views, payment submissions and upload space across the whole account. Reaching any of them disables its forms, which show "Form over quota" until the usage resets or you upgrade. Growform's plan limits are soft, so you get an alert and plenty of notice, and every lead keeps arriving.

    Form views are metered, 100,000 a month on Bronze

    On Jotform, views are counted account-wide every month, with 10,000 on the free plan, 100,000 on Bronze at $39 and 1,000,000 on Silver at $49. A paid campaign spends views long before it spends submissions. Growform plans are sized by leads and active forms, and no plan meters views or traffic.

    A storage ceiling that eats your oldest leads

    Jotform keeps a lifetime count beside the monthly one, 10,000 stored submissions on Bronze and 25,000 on Silver, and its pricing page says that above it "the system will delete the oldest form response to make room for new submissions". Growform's limits are soft, with an alert and notice long before anything changes.

    Sale prices run for one term, then renew in full

    Jotform runs sales on its yearly plans at different times of the year, and its pricing page states that "Plans will auto-renew at the full price in the next payment period". Growform lists one monthly and one yearly price per plan, and the yearly price is the only discount.

    Jotform's name stays in your form URL on every plan

    Paid Jotform plans remove the "Powered by" badge, but its help center says its name "will still appear in the form URLs", and its pricing FAQ lists custom domains among what Enterprise adds. Growform Professional hosts standalone forms on your own domain or subdomain through a CNAME, at $139 a month.

    Custom JavaScript means hosting the form's source code yourself

    Jotform Support says custom JavaScript cannot be added to "Jotform-hosted forms for security reasons". The route it offers is to download the form's source code, edit it and host the page yourself. Choose Jotform when the form is the whole job and the job is not a lead. It is the right tool for surveys and feedback forms, event registrations and bookings, order forms that take payment inside the form with no platform fee, PDF forms and e-signatures, and the approvals and workflows that sit behind them. Its Gold plan adds HIPAA-enabled forms, and its free plan covers 100 submissions and five forms a month for as long as you need it.

What is the best alternative to Jotform for lead generation?

Growform is the best Jotform alternative for lead generation. Jotform's help center says forms are disabled when an account reaches its usage limit, while Growform's limits are soft, so leads keep arriving after an alert. Jotform remains the better choice for payments, PDFs and internal forms.

Is Jotform good for lead generation?

It collects leads, and it is built for far more than that. Jotform describes itself as the easiest online form builder, made for data collection, payments and workflows, with templates for applications, registrations, orders and bookings. For a form under an ad budget, the gaps show in its support answers, with no direct Google Tag Manager integration and no custom JavaScript on a hosted form, and in its meters, which count views and switch forms off at the cap. Growform is the multi-step form builder for lead generation, so those parts are the product.

Does Growform limit form views?

No. Plans are sized by leads and active forms, no plan has ever metered views or traffic, and more than five million form loads are served a month. A campaign that doubles its traffic changes nothing on your bill until the leads come in.

What happens to the leads that arrive above my Growform allowance?

They keep arriving. Limits are soft, so you get an alert and plenty of notice to move up a plan, and your forms, webhooks and email alerts carry on in the meantime. On Professional the 1,000-lead allowance can be raised to 2,000 from inside the app for $60 a month.

Does Growform work with Google Tag Manager and ad pixels?

Yes. On every plan, a one-click integration fires Google Analytics 4 key events and Google Ads, Meta and X conversions when a form completes, with hidden fields capturing your UTMs. Professional and Scale add your own Google Tag Manager containers, which fire tags as people progress through the steps. Can I put several questions on one step?

Yes, on every form. Each step holds as many fields as you give it, so a quote form can ask for name, phone and email together on the last step while the earlier steps stay to one question. Jotform does this in its Classic forms with the Page Break element, and its Card forms show one question per card. See multi-step forms.

Can I host a Growform form on my own domain?

Yes, on Professional and Scale. Add a CNAME and the standalone form lives at an address such as form.mysite.com, with your branding and nothing of ours. Embedded forms sit on your page under your URL on every plan. See custom domains.

Can Growform capture TrustedForm and Jornaya certificates?

Yes, on Professional and Scale. Switch TrustedForm on in the form's tracking settings and a certificate is captured with each submission, ready for the buyer. Jornaya and Contact State work the same way, and Twilio and ZeroBounce validate the phone number and email address before the lead is submitted.

Can I move my Jotform forms to Growform?
